Lucasfilm (Lucasfilm) is a film company founded by George Lucas in 1971, headquartered in San Francisco, California, United States, and acquired by Disney in 2012. Lucasfilm has a high level of visual effects and sound effects in movies, and its subsidiaries include Industrial Light & Magic, which focuses on visual effects, and Skywalker Sound, which focuses on sound effects; Pixar Animation, which was originally a subsidiary of Lucasfilm, has been acquired by Steve Jobs and Disney. Lucasfilm's most famous films are the Star Wars series.
