Tokyo International Film Festival

The Tokyo International Film Festival (T.I.F.F.) is one of the world's nine A-list film festivals and Asia's largest film festival, on a par with the Cannes, Venice, and Berlin International Film Festivals, and is organized by the Tokyo International Film & Video Culture Association (T.I.V.C.A.) and the Organizing Committee of the Tokyo International Film Festival. Organized by the Tokyo International Film and Video Culture Promotion Association and the Tokyo International Film Festival Organizing Committee, the festival was founded in 1985 and is held from late October to early November every year. The festival is divided into four sections: Competition, Special Offerings, Winds of Asia, and Perspectives on Japanese Cinema.
