Cambridge University Library is one of the world's leading libraries. Since its founding in 1424, its collection has grown from seventy-six volumes to more than six million today. The library's Chinese collection includes oracle bones from the Shang Dynasty, various types of engraved books from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, various codices, paintings, topographies and other cultural relics, among which there are many treasures.
