The GhanaianTimes is the second largest official newspaper in Ghana, published by THE GUINEA PRESS LIMITED. The Ghanaian Times was founded in 1957 by Ghana's first President, Kwame Nkrumah (leader of the African Independence Movement), as the official newspaper of his party, The Convention People's Party (CPP). The Convention People's Party (CPP), the official newspaper of his party, which has since grown into an independent company.
