University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming (UW) is a large and well-rounded public university located in Laramie, Wyoming's third-largest city. founded in 1886, UW has a rich history of more than 100 years and is an old and vibrant institution of higher learning. The University of Wyoming offers a full range of programs, from bachelor's degrees to doctoral degrees. It is categorized in the Carnegie Classification as a doctoral/research university in the highest research category in the United States. It is also the only four-year public institution of higher learning in Wyoming. The University of Wyoming has excellent learning facilities, including modern teaching lecture halls and laboratories, a library with over 750,000 volumes and a large computer network. Students have access to an indoor recreation center, recreation rooms, lounges, athletic fields and a swimming pool.
