Netherlands Academy of Social Sciences

The Netherlands Institute of Social Sciences (ISS), an internationalized institute of higher education in the social sciences and the only social research institute in the Netherlands authorized to grant doctoral degrees, was founded in 1952 by the Universities of the Netherlands and is dedicated to the study of developmental processes of social and economic change, offering master's and doctoral degree programs, as well as short-term diploma training and post-graduate diploma training courses.
