Interfax (Interfax)

Interfax (Интерфакс; English: Interfax) is Russia's most famous unofficial news agency, founded in 1898, headquartered in Moscow, with branches in London, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Warsaw, Kiev, Minsk and other cities. On January 10, 2014, on the official website of Interfax, the Chinese Ambassador to Russia, Li Hui, published an op-ed entitled "Refusing to face up to history, Japan will surely threaten peace in Asia and the world", criticizing Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's disregard for history and his visit to the Yasukuni Shrine.
