International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea

The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) is an international legal organization established in 1996 under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, with its headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, which is mainly responsible for hearing cases on the law of the sea and is an observer organization to the United Nations.
