International Union of Pure and Applied Physics

The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) is a non-governmental international academic organization founded in 1922 under the auspices of the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU). Scientific Unions (ICSU) and receives funding from UNESCO. The organization's Congress is its governing body, with an Executive Committee and professional committees, and is convened every three years.
