The Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta (Новая Газета) was founded in 1993 and is known nationwide for its coverage of Russian political and social issues. The newspaper is published on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is distributed throughout Russia and in some foreign countries.
