Chita State University is one of the leading universities in the Chita region of Russia. Established in 1974, Chita State University has the Faculty of Mining, the Faculty of Power, the Faculty of Architecture and Ecology, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Sociopolitics, the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Faculty of Technological and Transportation Sciences, the Faculty of Training, and the Faculty of Correspondence Courses.
