The University of British Columbia (UBC, also known as the University of British Columbia) is a renowned Canadian university founded in 1908, with its main campus located in Vancouver. The University of British Columbia has an excellent global reputation for academic research and education and teaching, and a total of seven alumni have won the Nobel Prize. UBC is ranked 49th in the 2013 QS World University Rankings.
