Zhang Dongjian

Jang Dong Gun (Korean: 장동건; English: Jang Dong Gun) is a household name in South Korea, born on March 7, 1972 in Seoul; in 1992, he debuted in the 21st Actor's Training Course of MBC TV; in 1997, he starred in the SBS TV series "Runway", and won the 33rd Korea Baeksang Arts Award for the TV series "Brothers of the Medical Family". In 2001, he starred in the movie "Friends", which became the highest grossing movie in Korea in 2001; in 2004, he starred in the movie "Flying Flag", which won the Best Actor Award at the 25th Korean Film Awards; and in 2005, he starred in the movie "Wuji", which was directed by Chen Kaige.
