Yahoo is a global Internet portal giant founded in January 1994 and incorporated on March 2, 1995 by Stanford University graduate students Jerry Yang and David Ferro. It provides a diverse range of Web services, including search engines, e-mail, and news, to more than 500 million unique users. In addition, it is a global Internet communications, commerce and media company.
