Singapore People's Action Party

The People's Action Party (PAP) is a prominent political party in Singapore, founded in 1954 by English-educated middle-class returnees from the United Kingdom; it existed as a Malaysian political party from 1963 to 1965, when Singapore was part of the Federation of Malaysia.
