World Tourism Organization (World Tourism Organization) is an authoritative international tourism organization, formerly known as the International Official Tourism Alliance, which was changed to its current name in 1975 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain. The main responsibilities of the World Tourism Organization are to collect and analyze tourism data, provide member states with statistics and research reports on a regular basis, formulate international tourism conventions, declarations, rules and models, and study global tourism policies.
