Japan Foundation for International Exchange

The Japan Foundation is a cultural promotion organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Established in 1972, the Japan Foundation has overseas offices in more than 20 countries and regions around the world, and is responsible for Japanese cultural and artistic exchanges, Japanese language education, etc. Its main operations include the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
