"Miss Universe is one of the three major beauty contests in the world, the other two being Miss World and Miss International. "The other two are Miss World and Miss International. The pageant was founded in 1952 by the Pacific Mills Clothing Company of California, USA. Miss Universe aims to help women around the world realize their aspirations and promote their careers, lives and personalities, and is regarded as a global symbol of modern female culture.
