The Portuguese Football Association (Federação Portuguesa de Futebol) is the governing body of soccer in Portugal, founded in 1914 and headquartered in Lisbon; it joined FIFA in 1923 and UEFA in 1954. The association is mainly responsible for the organization and management of all levels of the league, the Portuguese Cup, the Portuguese Supercup and the Portuguese national team, and famous players include Eusebio, Figo, Ricardo Penrina, Paulo Ferrara, João Pinto, Carvalho, Diego, C.
