Bae Yong-jun

Bae Yong Joon (배용준; Bae Yong Joon) is a representative of the Hallyu trend, a celebrity who is also an actor, producer, and the owner of KeyEast, a publicly traded entertainment and media company, and has become popular in Asia for his work on "Winter Sonata". His major achievements include the Newcomer Award at the 24th Korean Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2003, the Newcomer Award at the 40th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2004, the Young Artist Award at the Ministry of Culture in 2005, the Grand Prize of Highest Honor at the MBC Acting Awards in 2007, the Order of the Flower Crown Culture of Korea and the Award of Merit of Korean Wave at Drama Festivals in 2008, and the Best Actor Award at the 10th Anniversary of the Korean Wave in 2013, among others.
