George Clooney (1941-), US actor and comedian

George Clooney is a famous American actor, director, screenwriter and producer, born on May 6, 1961. His major achievements include the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for Escape from Three Kings in 2001; the Best Supporting Actor Oscar at the 78th Academy Awards for the movie Cinérina in 2005; Oscar nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay for Good Night, and Good Luck in 2006; and Best Picture Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards for Escape from Tehran in 2012, among others. On September 27, 2014, George Clooney and 36-year-old Britain's "most beautiful lawyer" Elmo Alamuddin held a lavish wedding in Italy.
