Bank of Montreal

Bank of Montreal (Bank of Montreal; abbreviation: BMO) Canada's oldest bank, founded on November 3, 1817; from 1863 to 1934, it was the designated bank of the Canadian government, exercising many of the functions of a central bank; in 1879, it became the first bank to issue foreign bonds in the New York market.
