Jeremy Lin (1988-), Taiwanese-American professional basketball player (NBA)

Jeremy Shu-How Lin (Jeremy Shu-How Lin) is an American professional basketball player and the first Chinese-American player to enter the NBA as a point guard, currently playing for the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers, scoring a total of 136 points in his first five career starts, the best in the NBA since 1974, and earning him the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Lin was born in California on August 23, 1988; graduated from Harvard University, becoming the first Harvard student to enter the NBA since 1953; signed with the Houston Rockets in the summer of 2012; in 2014, was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
