United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for environmental planning, was established in 1972 and is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. The United Nations Environment Programme has seven divisions, including Early Warning and Estimation, Environmental Policy Implementation, and Regional Cooperation.
