Central Bank of Lesotho

The Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL) is the central bank of Lesotho, established in 1978, headquartered in Maseru, and wholly owned by the Government of Lesotho, whose main objective is to achieve and maintain price stability, as well as to formulate and implement monetary policy, and regulate the operations of financial institutions, among others.
