The Clay Mathematics Institute (CMI) is a private, non-profit research organization founded in 1998 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of mathematical knowledge. The Clay Mathematics Institute published the famous Millennium Prize puzzle in 2000.
