Cavendish Laboratory

Cavendish Laboratory (Cavendish Laboratory, Department of Physics, University of Cambridge), founded in 1874, is one of the earliest specialized laboratories in modern scientific history, with research fields including astrophysics, particle physics, biophysics and so on. The Laboratory has produced 29 Nobel Prize winners between 1874 and 1989.
