Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is an international organization created to implement the Chemical Weapons Convention. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands, the OPCW focuses on banning and destroying chemical weapons and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013. OPCW was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013.
