The Constitutional Court of Korea (the Constitutional Tribunal) is an independent judicial adjudicative body in Korea, established in 1988, whose main function is to review unconstitutionality in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, and which can exercise jurisdiction over impeachment, dissolution of political parties, and disputes over the competence of state organs.
