The Kumho Museum of Art in Korea, established in 1989, is a building with three underground floors and four aboveground floors located at 78 Sisan-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The first basement floor is used for young people to hold exhibitions of their works, while the first and second floors above the ground are mainly used for planning exhibitions and large-scale exhibitions, and exhibitions of works by foreign writers are held about once a year. With the aim of upholding the diversity of art and culture, the Gyeongho Museum of Art has discovered a large number of young and promising newcomers, and has had a significant impact on the art world as a whole. Adjoining the east side of Gyeongbokgung Palace, the museum offers a beautiful view of the adjacent Gyeongbokgung Palace and is a unique space where modernity and classicism are realized in perfect harmony.
