The International Federation of Gymnastics (French: Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique, English: International Federation of Gymnastics, abbreviated as FIG) is an international sports organization founded in 1881 and headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, which is responsible for the promotion and popularization of gymnastics and the organization of international events.
