International Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a humanitarian organization founded in 1863 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The ICRC was awarded the Nobel Prize three times, in 1917, 1944 and 1963, and over the past 100 years, the ICRC has become one of the world's most respected non-State humanitarian organizations through its commitment to international humanitarian action.
