Fraunhofer Society

The Fraunhofer Association for the Promotion of Applied Research (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e. V.) is one of the largest applied science research institutes in Germany. Founded in 1949, it is headquartered in Munich and consists of more than 80 institutes, which develop new technologies and processes mainly for enterprises. The main purpose of the institute is to develop new technologies and processes for enterprises.
