Dwight Howard (also known as: The Beast) is an American professional basketball player who plays center and currently plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA, and has played for the Orlando Magic in the NBA, with his major accomplishments being: In 2004, he was selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic; in 2008, he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest; in 2009-2011, he won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award for three consecutive years and ranked first in the league in both rebounding and blocking.
