Il New York City Football Club (NYCFC) è una squadra della Major League Soccer (MLS), annunciata nel 2013 come 20ª franchigia della MLS. Il New York City FC è di proprietà del Manchester City e dei New York Yankees, con il Manchester City che detiene la maggioranza delle azioni. Nel 2014, l'ex stella del Chelsea Frank Lampard ha annunciato il suo ingresso nel New York City FC.
