Jiyosha Corporation

Ltd. (Shueisha Inc.; abbreviation: Shueisha) is one of the largest general publishers in Japan, and is part of the Hitotsubashi Publishing Group (Hitotsubashi Group). It was founded in August 1926, and was reorganized as a joint stock company in 1947, and formally established as Shueisha Inc. in 1949, and has since published the weekly magazine Shonen Jump, the weekly magazine Playboy, the weekly magazine non-no, and the magazine Seventeen. Since its founding, Jiyosha has published such famous publications as the weekly magazine Shonen Jump, the weekly magazine Playboy, the magazine non-no, and the magazine Seventeen.
