The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is the intelligence, espionage and counterintelligence agency of the United States of America, whose main responsibility is to collect and analyze global political, economic, cultural, military, scientific and technological intelligence, and submit the information obtained to the relevant departments of the U.S. government.The CIA is known as one of the "world's four major intelligence organizations" along with the British Military Intelligence 6 (MI6), the Russian KGB (КГБ), and the Israeli Mossad (Mossad). The CIA, along with MI6 (MI6), KGB (KGB) and Mossad (Mossad), are known as the "Four Great Intelligence Organizations".
