Badminton Asia Confederation (Badminton Asia Confederation; referred to as: ADF, Asian Badminton Federation) is the governing body of badminton in Asia, under the Badminton World Federation (BWF), was established in 1959, headquartered in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, aimed at promoting the level of badminton in the Asian region. The main tournaments of the ABAF are the Asian Badminton Championships and the Badminton Asia Invitational Tournament.In 1974, the Badminton Association of China joined the ABAF.
