The Atlanta Braves are a team in Major League Baseball, part of the National League East (NL West from 1969-1993), founded in 1871 and relocated to Atlanta in 1966, and along with the Chicago Cubs, are the National League's only two remaining founding teams. The Atlanta Braves were division champions for 14 consecutive years from 1991-2005, ranking atop all North American professional sports. The team won World Series titles in Boston in 1914, Milwaukee in 1957, and Atlanta in 1995, making it the only team in MLB to have won the World Series in three different cities. The team has won 17 National League pennants, 12 NL East titles, and five NL West titles.
