SBS Transit is one of the two major public transportation organizations in Singapore (the other being the SMRT Group). Founded in 1978 and formerly known as Singapore Bus Company Limited, SBS Transit is listed on the Singapore Exchange and operates the MRT and LRT systems as well as buses.
