Singapore Exchange (Singapore Exchange; abbreviation: SGX, SGX) is the first corporate stock exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, was formally established on May 24, 1973; on December 1, 1999, it was formed by the merger of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SES) and the Singapore International Financial Exchange (SIMEX); on November 23, 2000, it became the first exchange in the Asia-Pacific region to list shares through public offering and private placement.
