StarFlyer (Japanese: スターフライヤー) is a famous low-cost airline in Japan, which was established in 2002, initially called Kobe Air (Japanese: Kobe Air Co., Ltd.); then moved to Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, in 2003 and changed to its current name; and in 2007, it signed a code-sharing agreement with All Nippon Airways (ANA), which means that the two airlines share flights between Tokyo International Airport and the new Kitakyushu Airport, which undoubtedly greatly increased the airline's capacity. In 2007, a code-share agreement was signed with ANA, which means that the two airlines share flights between Tokyo International Airport and Shin-Kita-Kyushu Airport, which has undoubtedly boosted the airline's passenger capacity.
