The Tercio de Extranjeros (Spanish Foreign Legion) is a world-famous mercenary organization founded in 1920 and now renamed La Legión (Spanish Legion). The Tercio de Extranjeros was once loathed by the Spanish public for having helped Franco's dictatorship, but now young Spaniards are proud to be part of the Tercio de Extranjeros.
