Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Halong Bay is a famous scenic area in Vietnam, located in the western part of the Gulf of Tonkin, a unique seascape in the shape of limestone columns consisting of more than 1,600 islands and islets, which was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1994. Famous peaks in Halong Bay include Poet Hill, Frog Hill, Cockatoo Hill, Toad Hill, Saddle Hill, Butterfly Hill, Fragrance Furnace Hill, and Wooden Hill, etc., whose scenery resembles that of the Guilin landscape in China, and is therefore known as "Guilin on the Sea".
