Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Vestas) is one of the world's largest producers of wind turbines, founded in 1945 and headquartered in Llanes, Denmark. Vestas has been manufacturing wind turbines since 1979 and merged with NEG Micon to become Vestas Wind Systems A/S in 2003.
