Tomnod, a famous American crowdsourcing platform launched by satellite operator DigitalGlobe, analyzes satellite images through the power of crowdsourcing to help humans better understand the world they are in. The platform has been involved in the emergency response and reconstruction of several natural and man-made disasters since 2013, including the Malaysia Airlines incident.
