In 2018, DowDuPont announced a proposed spin-off into 3 companies -- Cortevta Agriscience, Dow, and DuPont, with businesses in agriculture, materials science, and specialty products, respectively, with Cortevta Agriscience focusing primarily on seed technology, plant protection, and other areas.
