Taronga Zoo

Taronga Zoo, the world's most famous zoo, was established in 1916 and boasts over 2,000 animals on 75 acres of land just a 12-minute boat ride from the center of Sydney. Visitors can get up close and personal with Australia's wildlife, enjoy spectacular animal shows, and look out over Sydney Harbor, the Opera House, and the Sydney Bridge.
