Thales Alenia Aerospace

Thales Alenia Space is a French aerospace company, with parent companies Thales Group of France and Finmeccanica Group of Italy.In 2005, Alcatel of France and Finmeccanica of Italy merged their respective space divisions to form two joint ventures, and in 2006 Alcatel sold its holdings to the Thales Group of France In 2006, Alcatel sold its stake to the Thales Group to form the current Thales Alenia Aerospace.
