Simond

Simond is a French family business specializing in the design and manufacture of mountaineering equipment, founded in 1860 by two blacksmiths, the Simond brothers, in Chamonix, a small town below Mont Blanc in France. The first generation of ice axes was invented by the Simond brothers.
